On shorter overnight flights, aim to find flights that are nearer or later than your usual bed time. This will help with dropping off to sleep.
The flights are also less likely to land when you'd typically be in deep sleep in your Halifax timezone. Remember, you'll typically be offered breakfast 1-2 hours before landing too. That will feel easier nearer 6-7am on your body clock than 1-2 am.
